We are excited to be recruiting for new talent to join our growing and innovative team - Junior AV Technician! The right individual must be mechanically inclined, adaptable to a dynamic work environment, and able to successfully meet the physical demands of the job. This position supports our Government AV/Video Teleconference (VTC) production and installation department.

The responsibilities of this role may include:

• Assists tenured Technicians with the permanent installation and mounting of equipment, such as projectors, projection screens, monitors, speakers, and microphones, to ceilings and walls in secure spaces
• Assists with configuring AV equipment including Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, and Biamp
• Assists with the fabrication, termination, and installation of AV and IT cabling
• Assists with the configuration of video conferencing solutions Polycom and CISCO
• Assists with the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of various AV systems
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing existing AV systems
• Performs all other duties as assigned

To qualify for this position, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of relevant work experience. This position will require CONUS and OCONUS travel, so you must be willing to do so. A CTS and an active DoD Secret security clearance are strongly desired.

Additional qualifications include:

• Ability to life 50lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb
• Operating knowledge of all MS Office products
• Ability to follow basic flow diagrams
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
• Ability to obtain CTS within 2 years of hire
