Position Overview

kglobal is a full-service agency that helps clients communicate better. As a result, our commercial and federal clients build awareness, increase market share, influence policy, and protect their brands.

We are looking for a Graphic Designer interested in playing an integral role conceptualizing and developing compelling material - to help our customers tell a cohesive story. You will work directly on an exciting opportunity in Indian Head, Maryland. As a critical member to the creative team, you will depict technical concepts and create compelling visuals through design and implementation. A successful candidate will be creative, fast on their feet, and self-driven. Ideal candidates must also have an active secret security clearance and previous experience with design for the federal government and/or branches of the armed forces.

Description

What You'll Do:

    Design materials for traditional print, large-format print, and digital projects using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Create compelling visuals for a variety of media, including (but not limited to) flyers, brochures, signage, exhibits, banners, newsletters, infographics, social media, web banners, and videos
  • Work with a variety of production equipment and material such as standard and large-format printers, and multiple sizes of laminating equipment
  • Research and implement new techniques, programs, and materials for creating visual communication products
Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • Hold associate degree or higher in fine arts, communications, graphic design, or related field, AND two to five (2-5) years of experience
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop), and working knowledge of Microsoft Publisher
  • Able to communicate professionally and effectively with customers ranging from all manner of DoD civilians all the way to the commanding officer
  • Energetic, passionate, and intellectually curious
  • Understanding of basic photography and videography concepts and technology and post-production methods is preferred
  • Able to quickly transition between multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • An active Secret Clearance is required for this role
  • Extra Credit: an awesome self-starter looking to showcase their creativity!

  • This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
