Job Description

Northwest Texas Healthcare System, a 495-bed acute care medical center located in Amarillo, Texas, provides comprehensive acute care and outpatient services to the 500,000+ residents of the Texas Panhandle and surrounding region. The hospital is currently recruiting a BC/BE Neurologist for a position with our employed group, Northwest Physicians Group.

Opportunity highlights:

  • Employed position
  • Position can be IP, OP or blend of both
  • Perform standard or specialized neurological procedures
  • Subspecialty interest/training in stroke, MS, or Parkinson's is welcomed
  • Quickly develop a busy practice due to current long wait times for new patients
  • Hospital is an Advanced Primary Stroke Center with plans to pursue CSC
  • Cryptogenic Stroke Pathway program
  • Bedside Telestroke services 24/7
  • Quantitative and continuous EEG monitoring
  • Hospital has employed neurosurgeon and is a Level II trauma center
