Summary:

Lead Multimedia Developer / Video Producer shall provide multi-media/video support. To support these activities, the contractor shall perform assigned tasks as specified at the task order level.

This position includes providing multimedia/video support at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, in support of the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The contractor shall videotape and edit program material for MEDCoE client agencies/organizations. Receives specific instructions from a producer. Staff members in this classification are required to maintain a flexible work schedule in order to accommodate evening and weekend shifts and travel to on-site locations for taping.
  • The contractor shall create storyboard, scriptwriting; editing, videography, animation and post production. Possesses specialized skills in video expertise using design software and pre[1]press production.
  • The contractor shall provide graphic art products and services that are suitable for photo, print, mechanical and/or digital reproduction. This may include 2D, 3D graphic animations, still images, and title illustrations.
  • The contractor shall provide audio support using audio booth, studio and/or location recordings. This includes recording, re-recording, mixing, and/or transferring, on single or multiple sound tracks, use of synchronous and non-synchronous sound, such as narration, background sound and special sound effects.
  • The contractor shall provide artistic expertise to customers to assist in determining best uses of multimedia (graphic art, photography, audio and video) to satisfy mission needs.
  • The contractor shall provide music composition and arrangement services. Write, compose, and arrange original scores of music for video, film, and multimedia. Collaborates with creative team/director and adapts ideas based on specific creative requirements for editorial, promotional trailer, web based products, and special event released projects.
  • The contractor shall provide production design/set design services. Create, plan and provide set design.

Qualifications

  • Technical Certificate or Associates Degree with nine (9) years' experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Training Programs - US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) and U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) experience preferred.
