To meet our needs, we are looking for a Technical Targeting Officer to work out of McLean, Virginia to support a client's challenging operational requirements at multiple locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Successful Technical Targeting Officer candidates will support cutting-edge intelligence operations using specialized, state-of-the-art tools and technologies while working in an integrated government-contractor team. Responsibilities include technical research using customer tools, technical analysis, and report writing; operational concept development; stakeholder engagement; and preparation and presentation of reports to all levels of customer management. This work is increasingly complex and highly dynamic. It affords the successful candidate considerable opportunity to address high-profile intelligence issues and apply the full-range of analytic tradecraft to sophisticated, challenging worldwide missions. Key to this work is being able to identify and assess the right entities and the right vulnerabilities and technology trends to enable new collection operations that answer critical intelligence issues. This endeavor requires strong analytic, research and investigative skills combined with ops sense and personal initiative and some technical expertise or aptitude. Technical Targeting Officers must be able to think critically and communicate highly complex technical information accurately, clearly, and in proper context while working collaboratively in a team environment. Candidates should be comfortable with drafting and disseminating written reports and requests for information. The ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings is a key skill for this role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Active Top Secret SCI security clearance with Poly

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
  • Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases and specialized tools
  • Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices
  • Formal training or certification as a Technical Targeter
  • Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing
