To strengthen our Data Analytics Team, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: RWD Data Analyst.

As a RWD Data Analyst you will work with RWE Experts and serve as an expert for Real World Data Analytics activities. You will also serve as a Programmer Analyst, technical resource, internal consultant, and mentor to the staff within RWD Data Analytics. The role will include input into protocol design and expertise in programming and analysis methodology for RWE studies.

You like to work in an environment where you can:
* Lead and support Data Analysis and statistical programming study related activities within the Real World Evidence Department.
* Provide input on and review of study design, analysis plans and other study related documents.
* Develop, validate, maintain, and document analysis programs and other study documents
* Provide technical database expertise to stakeholders


You will contribute by:
* Providing input on interpretation of results and reviews publications
* Providing high level of analytical ability, exhibiting characteristics that are structured and methodological to ensure that sound decisions are made.
* Identifying issues and proactively prevent statistical or programming problems for assigned product development program. Ability to communicate these issues and solutions to team members.
* Planning, performing, troubleshooting and making decisions based on precedent, company policies, UCB procedures, international and national regulations and Good Clinical or Good Pharmacoepidemiology Practices
* Evaluating studies and project reports to detect problematic issues

Interested? For this position you'll need the following education, experience and skills:
* Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred)
* 5 - 7 years' experience with a proven successful track record of analysis of Real World Data in partnership with Epidemiologists and Outcomes Researchers
* Advanced statistical programming skills in SAS to solve complex programming tasks
* Knowledge of Health Claims databases or Electronic Medical Records databases such as IBM Marketscan data or CPRD Data
* Knowledge of RWD Platforms (eg Aetion, IHD) is a plus
