What success looks like in this role:

The Specialty Sales Support Specialist is responsible for assisting Unisys sales and client executives to sell Unisys products/services into existing clients and new name accounts. They are responsible for ensuring that the sales and client executives have the required support to ensure that products/services are fully embedded into account plans and that we execute on the agreed account strategy. Responsible for the financial performance of products/services within a territory, and is a subject matter expert that can handle every aspect of a product/service transaction. They also may have some direct account responsibility. Deals would generally have a reasonable level of complexity and a medium sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures that sales and client executives have the required support so that products/services are fully embedded into account plans and that we execute on the agreed account strategy. *

  • Provides subject matter expertise with a full understanding of Unisys products/services and solutions.

  • Leverages sales skills and a demonstrated capability to sell Unisys products/services at most, if not all levels within a client environment.

  • Builds and maintains key relationships with existing and new accounts.

  • Resolves issues that ensure we maintain momentum to the sales and fulfillment process.

  • Expands and retains accounts while ensuring ongoing customer service is offered over the sales cycle.

  • Assigned and expected to support accounts with a reasonable level of complexity.

  • Works with minimal or direct supervision.

  • Mentor, teach, and/or share best practices with others.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of sales, sales support and/or product/services management experience.

  • History of consistent and successful quota attainment.

  • Knowledge of Unisys products and related services and understands Unisys competition.

  • Self-starter and demonstrates independence with managing work.

  • Driven, enthusiastic, persistent, confident, and highly motivated.

  • Ability to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results.

  • Strong ability to persuade, be strategic, motivate, and influence others.

  • Excellent systems knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite programs and internet.

  • Business level fluency in more than one language desirable.

  • Willingness to travel, as needed.
