This position is full-time (40 hours/week), any day of the week. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our available 8 hour shift schedules (6a-430p, 8a-630p & 10a-830p). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 1420 S Central Ave., Glendale CA 91204.

The pace is fast, so your ability to multi-task is essential. You should also enjoy working with people and have the communication skills necessary to build strong relationships with our customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Check in patients, schedule appointments and answer billing questions

  • Register patients and verify their insurance information

  • Work collaboratively with Nursing, Physicians, Case Managers, and patient families

  • Manage patient medical records

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • Certificate for Management of Assaultive Behavior, or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire
  • 2+ years of Clerical experience
  • Strong knowledge of both government and commercial insurances
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Management of Assaultive Behavior Certificate
  • Experience with MEDITECH
  • Bilingual fluency with English and Spanish or English and Armenian
