Part-time, benefit eligible float position ( covering two programs in Appleton).
Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI is seeking a Mental Health Specialist to join our team to float between one 8 bed residential facility and one 4 bed adult family home for adults with mental health and/or addictions issues who are experiencing a crisis from any of life's difficult circumstances in Appleton. The role helps with independent living skills, medication management, budgetting, etc. No personal cares required! This position is part-time, benefit eligible and requires a flexible schedule with availability for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift coverage. Schedules are made in advance and allows for planning and work-life balance.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
A High School Diploma or GED Equivalency is required for the position. Related experience or credits toward a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in social work, human services, psychology or similar major is required. One year of work experience in crisis or mental health preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
The incumbent of this position must have a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation to perform the essential duties of the role; a motor vehicle check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record per the LSS Driver Safety Procedure is required, and ability to meet LSS auto insurance requirements.
TRAVEL: Ability to travel on day trips as required up to 25-50%, depending on specific role.
