The Quality ControlManager (QCM) is responsible to oversee and be responsible for all qualitycontrol aspects of the services required under this contract includingexecution of the company's Quality Control Program. This position is requiredto be available to meet with the Functional Director (FD) and/or theContracting Officer within 2 hours after notification during duty hours todiscuss matters related to the QC and contract QC responsibilities.
The QCM shalldemonstrate interpersonal, analytical and communication (written and verbal)skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a diverse and dynamicenvironment with short-notice under high pressure situations.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES: Pleaselist by order of priority and, if possible, provide the percentage of timespent on the activity all should equal 100%.
Perform duties as the company authorizedrepresentative for the technical and administrative performance of all servicesrequired under this contract.
Representthe company for contractual or administrative questions or challenges thatarise related to the contract.
Establish and maintain effectivecustomer relationships with the goal of maintaining a mutually beneficialbusiness relationship with the Government
Providesleadership and oversight for installation comprehensive planning, projectprogramming, environmental planning, technical design, and constructionsurveillance for projects to maintain, restore, and upgrade base facilities andinfrastructure systems.
Responsible for the development, maintenance,and implementation of management, technical and project operating plans
Ensurescomplete program management services are delivered to the installation
Ensure contract compliance with Federal,State, and Local government regulations
Deliver the importance of safety rulesand compliance with OSHA requirements throughout the entire contract staff
Interface frequently with customers andinternal company staff, responsible for organizing and conducting projectstatus reviews, team meetings, and various other business meetings.
Performs other duties and assignments asrequired.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENTDIRECTLY USED:
Personalcomputer, MS Office, and other general office equipment.
Work isgenerally conducted in an office environment and could include work at project locations.Duties, however, may involve work outdoors with potential exposure to extremeclimatic conditions.
Work mayrequire stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and workingwith or in areas where a potential exists for exposure to physical dangers andchemical or hazardous agents. May be required to wear Personal ProtectiveEquipment (PPE).
Bachelor'sdegree in from an accredited college or university and formal educationin Quality Control Processes.
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a QualityControl Manager developing, performing, managing, and supervising qualitycontrol programs and operations of similar size and complexity to the basemaintenance services contract.
Must have at hire date and maintain aQuality Technician Certification from the American Society for Quality.
Ability to obtain a DoD SecretClearance.
Mustpossess excellent computer, interpersonal, and oral and written communicationskills.
Workingknowledge of O&M work order management and asset/property managementsystems.
Demonstratedknowledge in Quality Control for O&M and/or logistics services.
Supervises employeesdirectly and indirectly. Manages multiple tasks.
