The Solutions Industry Consultant provides guidance gained through years of service with key companies within the industry to help companies apply technology solutions to achieve improved operational performance. Key Responsibilities: Industry Expertise - Life Sciences
Maintain a constant pulse on key trends, opportunities and challenges within their focused industry as it relates to manufacturing and technology.
Demonstrate expertise in translating and quantifying industry business challenges and establishing return of investment calculations for solutions to overcome these challenges.
Maintain relationships with key partners for the industry to ensure Rockwell Automation's capability to fully support the industry.
Understand industry specific expectations on project execution through the full lifecycle of Design, Build, Sustain, Improve including industry funding and approval practices.
Execute customer engagements in the form of FEL, FEED, or consulting engagements to assist customers in developing their automation project or program strategies.
Solutions Business Capability Support
Provide guidance and thought leadership internally to our solutions organization to ensure our offering addresses the industry needs and is competitive in the market.
Solutions Sales Support
Represent the solutions organization as an industry expert to support customer engagements to drive sales.
Represent the solutions business in pursuit strategy discussions / WIN Strategy 2.0 calls to ensure the appropriate delivery path for the customer.
Solutions Marketing Support
Support the marketing organization with industry specific content to support the value our Solutions Provide to the industry as well as our knowledge of industry trends.
Work with Marketing to Create Customer Success Stories

Prior experience in proposal development and direct customer relations:
Minimum of 12 years related experience in a customer-facing position, business development or sales role where you have direct sales facing interaction with customers and suppliers, specific to IT/OT.
Minimum of 12 years related experience with marketing solutions, products, and/or services to customers
Prior experience in industrial automation
Prior experience with Rockwell Automation products, solutions and services
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Exceptional technical and commercial experience
Experience in sales and marketing or business development is advantageous
