Sage Hospitality is in search of our new Sales Manager tojoin our team at the Westin Cleveland. The ideal candidate is someone withstrong leadership abilities, outstanding communication and analytical skills,and experience in creating strong partnerships with the community and industryleaders. You will be working within high profile markets in all areas ofprofessional sports, media, medical, financial and other key corporateaccounts. Variety is key! Posting Overview:

The Sales Manager is responsible for selling the hotel,developing sales contacts and performing sales activities in assigned markets.Exempt Sales Managers must spend more than 50% of their time outside directlyselling. Must be able to engage customers, analyzes their needs, and createstailored proposals. Negotiates and closes sales while achieving sales targets.Effectively communicates internally and externally through various methods andacross all departments.

Vision to read fine print and computerscreens, to see colors, to observe rooms in poorly lit conditions. Understandand follow verbal/written instructions. Education/FormalTraining

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience

Six months minimum in sales, customer service relatedposition or hotel experience preferred.
