About The Event:
The IRS is hiring Clerks and Tax Examiners for the Ogden, UT, Service Center. During this in-person hiring event, we will be reviewing resumes and qualifying applicants for positions on-the-spot. These positions do not require you to have any prior tax experience, as we provide comprehensive training to new hires.
We are offering full time, Monday through Friday, swing shifts from 4:00pm – 12:30am. These positions are not telework-eligible and require you to perform the work at the Ogden Service Center.
About the Positions:
Clerks and Tax Examiners perform a variety of administrative tasks and duties associated with tax administration. These duties will vary based on the position and may include identifying and reviewing forms, preparing inventory reports, reviewing filed material, transcribing taxpayer documents, responding to taxpayer correspondence, resolving account issues, reviewing tax returns for errors and missing information.
