Entry Level Sales - Dealer Acquisition

Generac is a Wisconsin based $1.8 billion market-leading manufacturing company that builds quality power products that positively impacts the lives of our customers.  We have a new opportunity in our Waukesha facility for a motivated metrics driven Dealer Acquisition with experience in Sales that would like to be a part of a solid local company that offers career growth and development.  Our Dealer Acquisition includes performing cold calls and taking inbound calls from businesses interested in partnering with Generac.  

Primary Responsibilities follow:

• Performs outbound cold calls to domestic and International businesses with the goal of selling those business owners on the idea of partnering with Generac Power Systems for the sale and maintenance of Generac products.
• Fields inbound phone calls from the Dealer Acquisition queue from business interested in partnering with Generac for sales, maintenance and/or service.
• Develops and compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, card deck leads, aged leads, bingos, dealer resellers, business directories, internet websites, and other sources.

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 years of sales experience;

Training base rate is $16/hr. Following the completion of training the compensation will move to a base plus uncapped commission structure.
