Open House - How to Become a Teacher!

Start teaching as early as this fall! Do you enjoy inspiring children, being creative, working with others, having fun, and continuously learning? Do you hold a Bachelor’s Degree? You can make a difference in the life of others -- become a teacher! School are hiring now for positions this fall. Attend CESA #1’s free open house to learn more about how to become an educator in a “high-need” area through an alternative licensure program or how to become a substitute teacher.

Areas designated as “high-need” may include:

Alternative Education (must hold a valid teaching license)
Bilingual Education
Cross Categorical Special Education
Early Childhood
Special Education

*English as a Second Language
*Business Education
*Mathematics
*Music
*Other World Language
*Science
*Computer Science
*Technology Education

** Bachelor’s Degree in field or major equivalent needed

Details for the evening:
-Register for an Informational Session (4PM, 5PM, 6PM)
-This program is a best fit for people living in or near southeastern Wisconsin
-If you have a resume, bring it along (or we can help you build one that evening!)
-Bring any questions you have, CESA staff will be happy to answer them
-Staff will analyze your background and let you know which licenses you may be eligible for.
