Opportunity Finance Network (OFN) is the national association of community development financial institutions (CDFIs). Our network helps money flow across all 50 states to people and places where traditional finance doesn’t reach.

There are nearly 1,200 certified CDFIs in the United States. Including community development loan funds, banks, venture capital funds, and credit unions, CDFIs are a $136 billion industry. More than 250 CDFIs are also members.

CDFIs create positive changes across America by financing individuals and projects that create and maintain living-wage jobs, spark small businesses, build quality, affordable homes, and invest in vital community facilities. These mission-driven investors bring creative and transformative finance to all the communities they serve. And OFN provides capital, advocacy, and capacity building to help OFN member and non-member CDFIs create impact.
