ICR was founded in 1990 to serve the collection needs of institutions of higher education, healthcare providers, and government and commercial entities across the nation. ICR has the specialized leadership, technology, and experience to provide institutions with a custom turnkey collection program.

Our Atlanta office management team has over 100 years of experience in managing, collecting and competing on successful varied government contracts. These include federal student loans, state guarantee agencies, state revenue and delinquent utilities bills.
In 2009, the US Department of Education awarded their prestigious student loan contract to Immediate Credit Recovery (ICR).
Our Government team understands the sensitivity to complaints that may arise when handling these types of accounts and therefore are well prepared to ensure that the staff is especially sensitive to this issue. The staff is very structured and disciplined in our collection approach which allows us the ability to minimize issues while providing outstanding and superior results.

Since our inception in 1990, ICR has specialized in the recovery management and resolution of delinquent Perkins, Health Professional and Institutional student loans. ICR is fully registered and licensed to provide collection services in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, to the extent required by applicable law.
