Company Overview
Blackfoot began with the idea that when people connect they accomplish more than they do on their own. Named after the Blackfoot River, our roots lied deep in the lasting relationships we’ve built with our customers. Since 1954, Blackfoot has fostered a reputation based on exceptional customer service, a legacy that’s served us well and is reflected in our growing market share.

We’ve expanded our markets and enhanced our service area and product lines through infrastructure investments and acquisitions. Since 2010, we’ve invested more than $50 million in broadband infrastructure and given Blackfoot one of the most advanced data backbones in the region. In 2012, we added deep business expertise and broadened our reach by acquiring Cutthroat Communications out of Bozeman, Montana and the Eastern Idaho operations of FairPoint Communications.

Today, we employ more than 170 professionals. We deliver state-of-the-art telecommunications across Montana and Eastern Idaho. We serve some of the largest and most influential customers in the region. Yet, the fundamental purpose of our work remains the same. It is to connect people and businesses to help communities prosper and grow, and to provide useful and reliable technology to our customers.

We are Blackfoot. And together, we’re doing more, delivering more and accomplishing more…same as the people who started it all.
