In this role you will be responsible for leading system wide projects geared towards the continuous improvement in workers compensation and workforce safety, including the redesign of workflows that impact high reliability, team member safety and quality. Interact with various internal and external stakeholders in the implementation of programs and initiatives that align with the organizations vision. Responsible for designing and developing metrics, reports and analysis to drive key business decisions. This position serves as a change agent within the organization.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Director of Team Member Safety, you will be responsible for delivering and leading a team to implement, monitor and assess a high-quality business consultancy process across the breadth and depth of our operational processes.
  • Serves as an alliance partner with Director of Team Member of Safety & Workers Compensation Manager for completing and meeting mid to long-range plans and strategic initiatives; monitors and executes the development of strategic projects to include budgeting and business objectives; translates organizational strategy into executable priorities and programs
  • Lead a team that assimilates data from multiple areas/constituents and logically align to the big picture on select projects
  • Develops hypotheses, and executes analysis to assist in translating business needs into actionable resolutions that support mid to long-term business objectives; responsible for capturing and translating, conceptual processes and creating practical solutions to identified challenges; ability to understand the technical aspects and requirements necessary to develop effective solutions, and provide functional and operational consultation to successfully implement and realize maximum value from the solution
  • Identifies a realistic and executable strategy focused on planning, developing roadmaps and communication plans on select initiatives
  • Drives the implementation of program improvements, expansions and provides support for ongoing maintenance and sustainability of the programs across the organization
  • Develops processes, policies, and procedures to effectively manage cross-functional successful programs; provides support in quality and opportunity improvements as well as operational support on select initiatives
  • Communicate relevant information including risks and improvement recommendations; develops relationships with program stakeholders to ensure cooperation and teamwork to optimize scope, savings, revenues, and compliance
  • Leads efforts in assisting sites, departments, PSA’s, and individuals in the identification of information, data requirements, and modifications needed to support program activities
  • Serves as the key liaison for team member safety, providing guidance for employees, leaders and operational business units; ensuring a thorough and accurate understanding/interpretation of all relative team member safety policies, procedures and administration.

Education/Experience Required:

  • Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Management Consulting, Project Management, Healthcare Administration or Business Administration, Workers Compensation, Safety Management Experience Required: Typically requires 7 years of experience in the Health/Welfare, general Human Resources, Healthcare Administration or Workers Compensation-related field.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze and report on large amounts of data with precision and accuracy. Must be able to extrapolate key themes (tell the story) within the data. Proficient in software and Microsoft Office, such as Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Windows and advanced experience in Excel. Demonstrated ability to successfully work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and engage direct reports Excellent written and verbal communication skills; including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders and present professionally in front of (and to) various audiences. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make recommendations to drive enhancements and process improvements. Strong attention to details, accuracy, and quality principles. Demonstrated organizational, flexibility and time management skills; must be able to manage various projects and deadlines simultaneously. Ability to comfortably work with multiple independent requests and stakeholders. Ability to develop detailed proposals and recommendation plans.
