Salary and Benefits | This position is in CS1, with a minimum salary of $16.71 per hour. The successful candidate’s salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range. This position is eligible for full-time fringe benefits package, including health, dental and vision plans, paid health insurance premiums, matching retirement and a generous leave package. |

General Description | The purpose of this position is to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable learning environment for students, faculty, staff and administrators. This is accomplished by sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming classrooms, offices, halls, restrooms, windows, corridors, and other public areas, making minor repairs, and reporting maintenance issue in the buildings. Other duties include picking up supplies from warehouse and delivering to buildings, picking up trash, and performing routine maintenance. Maintains assigned area(s) in a clean, orderly and attractive manner and performs related work as assigned by the Associate Director of Custodial Services, Custodial Supervisor and the Director of Physical Plant. Some weekends and holidays required. The work hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 1:00 pm-10:00 pm. These hours are subject to change. |
Qualifications: Education | High School diploma or GED required. |
Qualification:Experience | Requires some cleaning knowledge and the ability to read and understand product labels. |
Qualification:Skills | Requires excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to work successfully with students and other employees. Valid Driver’s license required. |
