 Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence, division is seeking a Director Total Rewards.

Description:   The Director, Total Rewards is responsible for the development, execution and ongoing evaluation of compensation and benefit programs and incentives to support Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence’s regional business initiatives and strategic goals.  This position will be responsible for ensuring company compensation and benefit programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.  Utilize subject matter expertise to ensure company’s Total Rewards Strategy is an enhancement to our quest to be an employer of choice. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design, development, implementation, and administration of regional compensation practices including market pricing, base pay components, annual merit process, benchmarking, and short and long-term incentive plans to ensure these programs are internally equitable and externally competitive which are cost-effective and consistent with market trends, best practices, and corporate objectives.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the company’s plans, programs and initiatives are competitive, affordable, and deliverable as well as consistent with the company’s employee value proposition.
  • Oversee and assist in the preparation and communication of informational material to employees about benefit programs, procedures, changes, and government-mandated disclosures.
  • Partner closely with global organization to ensure sharing of best practices and implementation of processes globally where applicable
  • Partnering with Benefits manager, oversee negotiations with benefit plan providers, vendors, auditors, and consultants for services, premiums, and plan administration. Identify and implement benefits to increase the quality of life for employees, by working with brokers and researching benefit issues.
  • Partner with business and HR leaders to develop, prepare and maintain detailed job descriptions and classification systems to define job levels.
  • Ensure all compensation and benefit programs are compliant with related government rules and regulations, including ERISA, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, OSHA, Worker’s compensation, and other applicable federal and/or state regulations.
  • Prepare, analyze, and submit reports for internal and external use, including government-mandated reports and compliance audits as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources, or related field and at least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in employee compensation, and at least one year of experience leading a team. 
  • Knowledge of relevant Federal, State, Local laws, regulations relating to total rewards
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing broad-based compensation programs including variable/long-term incentive compensation, and sales compensation programs.
  • Compensation design expertise and program knowledge in multiple practice areas including broad-based compensation programs, job architecture, job analysis/evaluations, career pathing, variable and sales compensation programs. 
  • Data analysis, reporting, and presentation of compensation data

  • Thorough subject matter expertise with knowledge and understanding of accounting and financial concepts especially related to tax and accounting treatment, SEC regulations and filings, proxy disclosures, FASB, Internal Revenue Code.

  • Proven ability to proactively recognize, plan and act on the need for innovation and process improvement.
