Minimum Qualifications | Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications. |
Preferred Qualifications | Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, or related field is preferred. Experience in advising student organizations, budgeting, event management, leading collaborative efforts, and assessment is preferred. |
Position Summary | The Senior Coordinator for Student Activities reports to the Assistant Director for Student Activities and is primarily responsible for supporting the overall portfolio of student activities with specific focus on special events, late-night experiences, and collaborative departmental activities. In addition, the Senior Coordinator serves as the primary advisor of the Homecoming Committee and provides secondary advising to the University Union Student Programming Board. |
