Pay

Salaried grade 6
$66,100-$74,700 / year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Plus 8% shift premium

Actual salaries may vary and in some cases may be higher with extensive experience and strong performance.

Shift

2nd/3rd, split Shift

Sunday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday to Thursday 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM. On call, alternating weekends.

Job summary:

Are you passionate about ensuring the highest standards of food safety, regulatory compliance, and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced QA Technical Services Supervisor to oversee our off shift Technical Services Department.

As the QA Technical Services Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our food safety, regulatory compliance, and quality specifications. You will lead a team of Technical Services analysts, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of quality measurements and laboratory analyses. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing medium to long-range plans for the Technical Services Department, focusing on food safety, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Managing day-to-day activities within the department, including preparing and analyzing objective measurements and statistics.
  • Cultivating strong working partnerships between the Technical Services Department and other departments.
  • Serving as the primary contact for quality and food safety issues during assigned at work and on-call time frames.
  • Implementing Lean and McKee Operating (MOS) Principles.
  • Reviewing preventative controls documents for FSMA compliance.
  • Collaborating with other members of Technical Services management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years of supervisory experience OR
  • 5 years McKee Foods Corporation experience with at least 1 year in a Quality Assurance

Or Technical Services position OR

  • 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Technical Service position AND
  • 2 years of College or Associates Degree (may be substituted with 4 years related work experience)
  • Successfully complete McKee Foods assessments
  • You must show how you meet the qualifications in a resume or documents you upload
  • You must complete and fully answer the background questionnaire.
  • Occasional travel required
  • Able to work on day shift during training and onboarding

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Previous experience in a food processing company.
  • Proven track record of excellence in previous roles.
  • Excellent human relations and team skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with McKee Business Systems (WMS, OPM, PIDW, etc.).
  • Demonstrated understanding of food safety and technical services programs.
  • Experience planning, implementing, and managing projects.
