Service Sales Manager

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities


The Service Sales Manager will be responsible for working with the region’s sales team to identify new service accounts, help develop compelling proposals and sales presentations while also supporting and driving growth with existing customers. As the service specialist, you will provide training to team members on technical service aspects, supporting and helping resolve customer concerns and reporting on the region’s service performance.


Your responsibilities:


• Create, plan and implement service growth strategy in collaboration with sales reps to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets for service products and solutions

• Drive sales effectiveness by ensuring adequate service selling skills for sales team through training, coaching the team in formulating sales plans, in negotiating and developing customer segment expertise.

• Establishes long term customer relationships with key customers and decision makers by understanding the requirements, regulations and exhibiting high expertise in technical solutions and products.  Ensures customer satisfaction issues are registered and responded to.

• Partner with service operations and cross functional teams to ensure alignment to drive service strategy

• Monitor and report on service renewals to ensure regional renewal targets are met and provide escalation support as needed

• Support customer needs analysis and development of Rainin solutions proposals

• Drive customer engagement in partnership with Sales to deliver business reviews to optimize customer experience and revenue 

• Work with sales management to develop and report on service pipeline to ensure alignment with resource capacity

• Travel to customer sites as needed (up to 50%)
What You Need to Succeed


• 2+ year Life Sciences sales or technical experience

• Ability to influence outcomes without direct personal tactical responsibility

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills

• Excellent verbal and written skills 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences related discipline preferred

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work well with a team
