The Clinical Nutrition team at Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a passionate Registered Dietitian to work in our outpatient clinics. This per diem job has flexible hours, this is a hybrid position: remote and in person sites (Waltham, Boston, Weymouth). 8-40 hours/week available. You would see a variety of patients (0-26 years of age).

This Per Diem- Pediatric Registered Dietitian be responsible for:

  • Providing nutritional care to patients in outpatient clinics.
  • Evaluating the medical, biochemical, and nutritional information and assessing patient needs in order to develop and implement the most appropriate nutrition care plans.

To qualify, you must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in nutrition and three plus years of progressive experience in Dietetics with at least 2 years in pediatric nutrition required.
  • Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
  • Analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in‑depth, experienced‑based knowledge.
  • Good communication skills to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, and well‑developed writing skills.
  • Experience with enteral feeds a plus
