McLeod Center is currently accepting applications for a Full-time Adult Residential Dorm Technician for its adult residential treatment program located in Charlotte, NC

What does this position do for the agency? 
The position is responsible for the following, with other duties as assigned:
  • Monitor clients during breaks between groups and activities.
  • Turn client bedrooms over as clients leave treatment.
  • Ensure all linens are laundered and stored for next use.
  • Review belongings of new admissions and note items not allowed in rooms, obtain emergency contacts for inclusion in chart.
  • Assists clients in adhering to daily schedule. 
  • Prepare transportation vouchers and drug screening forms.
  • Transports clients to and from appointments and meetings
  • Assist with post-residential placement as needed.

  • Judgment - Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; includes appropriate people in decision-making process.
  • Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently     

What kind of education and experience is needed? Minimum High School Diploma/GED; substance abuse experience preferred.

What does full time mean? 
Full time employees work a 37.5 hour week. This position provides benefits to include paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays, medical/dental/vision coverage, Flex Spending, 401(k) and a friendly work environment.
