Job Summary:
Headquartered in Riverside, Missouri, Capital Electric Line Builders, Inc. specializes in installing and maintaining overhead and underground transmission and distribution systems, substations, traffic signalization, and roadway and area lighting.

What We're Looking For

The Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Division of Capital Electric Line Builders, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager for electrical construction work. Position will be based in Riverside, Mo., though travel may be required on various projects through assigned region.

Essential Responsibilities
* Provide overall administrative and technical management on assigned projects from bid preparation through final acceptance by client.
* Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, electrical codes & standards, budget, and schedule.
* Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions (scheduling, engineering and material control) and may provide day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff.
* Supervise craft employees by working closely with the on-site foreman.
* May have to supervise work of other contractors as required by the contract.
* Track progress of craft and subcontractors to ensure project stays on schedule.
* Develop and execute recovery plan if schedule is negatively affected.
* Ensure timely and accurate completion of all project documentation including but not limited to correspondence, billing, purchase orders, change orders, submittals, schedules, etc.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
* 3+ years construction management required. (Equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience is also acceptable)
* Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods, codes); craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations; engineering, estimating, schedules and safety is required.
* Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule & on budget.
* Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to resolve disputes.
* Must be able to function in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
* Excellent communication and supervisory skills are essential.
