What We're Looking For The Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Division of Capital Electric Line Builders, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager for electrical construction work. Position will be based in Riverside, Mo., though travel may be required on various projects through assigned region. Essential Responsibilities * Provide overall administrative and technical management on assigned projects from bid preparation through final acceptance by client. * Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, electrical codes & standards, budget, and schedule. * Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions (scheduling, engineering and material control) and may provide day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff. * Supervise craft employees by working closely with the on-site foreman. * May have to supervise work of other contractors as required by the contract. * Track progress of craft and subcontractors to ensure project stays on schedule. * Develop and execute recovery plan if schedule is negatively affected. * Ensure timely and accurate completion of all project documentation including but not limited to correspondence, billing, purchase orders, change orders, submittals, schedules, etc. |

| Minimum Qualifications: | |||
| What You'll Need Minimum Qualifications and Skills * Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field * 3+ years construction management required. (Equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience is also acceptable) * Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods, codes); craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations; engineering, estimating, schedules and safety is required. * Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule & on budget. * Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Ability to resolve disputes. * Must be able to function in a fast paced, high pressure environment. * Excellent communication and supervisory skills are essential. Salary commensurate with experience and education. Background check, credit check and drug screen required. |
