What's the Job?

Full-Time opportunities for local dedicated CLASS A CDL delivery drivers in the New Haven CT area.

* Compensation: Activity based pay. Drivers will earn $1,300-$1,500 per week depending on the route.

* Route/activity: Dedicated route. Two different routes available. One is a shuttle route with two deliveries, and the other makes 11 stops. Drivers are responsible for making deliveries of auto parts to dealers in the New England Area. Light touch freight with electric pallet jacks.

* Shift: AM/PM Shifts, Home daily! Monday through Friday, dispatches range from 2pm to 10pm (depending on route).

* Equipment: 2018 or newer Freightliner trucks, deluxe cab interiors with comfort seats, XM RADIO subscription paid by company, 24/7 Roadside assistance, Automatic and Manual transmission equipment, 15L Engines, and many other amenities!

Main Responsibilities:

* Driving your assigned truck safely and responsibly

* Following all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

* Reporting problems with your truck, as well as accidents, traffic violations, and damage before and after route

* Acting as the main point of contact with your customer

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

* At least 18 months verifiable Class 'A' Tractor-Trailer experience

* No positive and/or refused drug and alcohol test(s)

* Stable work history and excellent safety record

* Solid MVR, no serious violations in the last 5 years

* Drivers must register with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse if you have not already done so, and provide consent for employer access.

* Reliable

* Excellent customer service skills

* Focused on safety

* Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

* Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
