Primary Function

Working from shop drawing, procedures or other written, verbal or electronic instruction, perform a wide variety of operations associated with the painting and assembly of final product, sub-assemblies and componentry for chiller products. Maintain production equipment and facilities in a safe, clean and efficiently operational manner. Adhere to procedures and prepare and maintain records, in either written or electronic form, regarding safety, quality, productivity, preventive maintenance and housekeeping. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

In manufacturing of Chiller Products a Line Assembler is required to perform, but is not limited to, the following duties:

1) Read, interpret, understand and work from blueprints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, labor summaries and other written, electronic or verbal instruction.

2) Work with a variety of raw and synthetic materials.

3) Operate various tools and equipment to assemble, paint, braze, test, handle, manipulate and move components, assemblies and final product.

4) Use measuring and testing devices as well as visual inspection to ensure quality of product and conformity to prints, work instructions and standards.

5) Maintain required records.

6) High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Direction of Others

Direct, guide, assist, and/or train others to promote manufacturing flexibility.
