Job Description
The Learning & Leadership Development team supporting Amazon's Devices, Business Development, Advertising, and Entertainment organizations seeks an inventive learning technologist to build digital solutions which raise the bar on what constitutes an exceptional and impactful learning experience.

We support a collection of customer-obsessed teams responsible for Amazon's Devices (Echo, Alexa, Kindle, Ring, FireTV, and more!), Prime Video & Studios, Amazon Music, IMDb, and the acquisition of new businesses to expand our portfolio of products and services which delight customers across the globe. Who You Are
You are a triple threat: you have the technical skillset to build exceptional digital learning experiences; you have a great eye for design and aesthetics; and you have experience with instructional design for adult learners. You bring it all together to build engaging, innovative learning experiences for a diverse, demanding, and constantly evolving customer base. You can switch from editing a video for a blended course to coding a website to designing a uniform visual look for a suite of learning experiences with relative ease. You are able to leverage your curiosity and critical thinking skillset to analyze issues, understand business needs, and tailor your designs to target those needs. You regularly consult with business partners, business leaders, and subject-matter experts to ensure solution design is synchronized with the needs of our customer and delivers against our objectives. You are self-driven with a high degree of ownership and initiative. You have strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and solid project management skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are great at balancing speed and quality. Altogether, these qualities make you a critical player in designing and developing learning solutions which drive our talent and leadership development priorities and delight our customer.

* Ability to develop web-based learning solutions, using the appropriate mix of development and prototyping languages and tools, across multiple devices and browsers (e.g., ability to code in HTML, JavaScript, and/or similar languages to create web sites, learning portals, and other technical assets).
* 5+ years' experience, with career progression in design, UX development, educational technology, computer science, visual design, and/or instructional design.
* Significant experience designing and delivering custom digital learning solutions to large, global populations.
* Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication, including ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and levels of the organization.
* Proficiency with learner-focused design and learning technologies (e.g., Captivate, Articulate Studio/Storyline, Camtasia, etc).
* Solid project management skills including planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and delivering results.
* Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders, SMEs, front-line managers, and frontline employees.
* A portfolio demonstrating your experience and skill using course authoring tools and instructional design theory will be required as part of the interview process.
