As an Equipment Operators - Backhoe & Excavator for our projects in Bakersfield, CA, you will contribute to our team by:

• Ability to utilize load charts and range diagrams to safely lift and move loads
• Move levers, depress foot pedals, and turn dials to properly operate power machinery
• Must have a working knowledge of surveying a jobsite for potential hazards including performing line locating for underground conflicts
• Observe hand signals, grade stakes, or other markings when operating machines so that work can be performed to specifications
• Become familiar with digging plans, machine capabilities and limitations, and with efficient and safe digging procedures in a given application

What you will bring to the role:

• 6 months industry experience.
• 6 months craft experience
• Equipment Operators may be required to possess a current and valid DOT-class A or B California driver's license with air break endorsements as required for the position
• Must have a three year driving record without restrictions. Individuals with one or more serious violations, DUI/DWI's shall not be authorized to drive PCL owned vehicles, or drive other vehicles, including personal or rental cars, to conduct company business
