STERIS’ Installation Technicians act as the face of STERIS by achieving One of a Kind Service for our Customers. The Installation Technician is a field-based, Customer-facing role that primarily travels to Customer sites (medical facilities) to install Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department equipment. They provide complete equipment installation in accordance with plans and specifications including scheduling, delivery, installation, check-out, and final inspection of equipment. Installation Technicians are also responsible for building positive relationships with Customers and peers, as well as completing necessary administrative tasks.
Relatable skills for this role include: working on large military or farm equipment, doing complex vehicle repairs, equipment installation, building maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, or other field service repair work.
