The Opportunity

Adobe's tax department is looking for a Senior International Tax Analyst to support the international tax team. The position will report to the International Tax Manager and is located in San Jose. The primary focus of the position will be on US international tax analysis and calculation, as well as reporting, of salient parts of post-tax reform international tax attributes. Additionally, the Senior International Tax Analyst will partner with Adobe's tax provision team by providing support and modeling.

What you'll do
  • Collaborate with the tax provision team and prepare, as well as support, the preparation of quarterly tax provision calculation for international tax-related components, including GILTI, BEAT, FDII, Subpart F, and FTC
  • Prepare and review US international tax forms (Form 5471, 8858, 8992, 8993, 1118, etc.), required disclosures/statements and maintain supporting workbooks
  • Data gathering and analysis (build excel models as well as technical research) to support international tax planning, or other special projects to determine the tax impact
  • Foreign tax credit planning/modeling
  • Technical research and analysis (e.g. research the effects of various international transactions)
  • Assist in transfer pricing related matters
  • Keep up to date on US and international tax law changes and analyze the impact to Adobe from regulatory changes/new guidance
What you need to succeed
  • CPA or working towards CPA
  • MST strongly preferred
  • 3-4 years of proven experience in U.S. international taxation with "Big 4"
  • Knowledge and experience in working through GILTI, BEAT, FDII, SubF and FTC computations
  • Experience with US international tax compliance process post-tax reform
  • Proficient with Excel and the ability to use advanced formulas within Excel
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical, problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to fluidly move between team contributions and independent responsibilities, while adding to an open team culture with transparent communication
  • Experience with ONESOURCE tax software, SAP and Tableau is a plus
