Job Description
We have a client located in the West Allis, WI area that is seeking to hire on Lab Technicians ASAP to assist with the COVID19 Testing and other Toxicology Testing. Please review the job description below and submit your resume if you are interested in applying.
We are looking for a qualified Laboratory Technicians to undertake a variety of laboratory procedures. You will be handling equipment to analyze COVID19 samples, urine samples and conduct tests, reporting findings to a laboratory manager. You will provide technical support to enable the laboratory to function effectively, while adhering to correct procedures and health and safety guidelines.

We are looking for a qualified Laboratory Technicians to undertake a variety of laboratory procedures. You will be handling equipment to analyze COVID19 samples, urine samples and conduct tests, reporting findings to a laboratory manager. You will provide technical support to enable the laboratory to function effectively, while adhering to correct procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Performs high complexity testing under the on-site direct supervision of a General Supervisor.
- Follows the laboratory’s procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting, and maintaining records of patient results.
- Maintains records which demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens.
- Adheres to the laboratory’s Quality Control policies and documenting all Quality Control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations, and instrument maintenance.
- Follows the laboratory’s policies, including taking and documenting corrective actions, whenever test systems are not within the laboratory’s established acceptable levels of performance.
- Able to identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or test result reporting and correcting the problem or notifying the appropriate supervisor.
- Documents all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory’s established performance specifications.
