The AWS Worldwide Sales Strategy, Operations, and Enablement team is seeking an experienced, customer-obsessed design professional to support Customer Programs in delivering exquisitely designed, professional, and highly customized publications and communications materials.

The Visual Designer will work collaboratively with the Graphic Design Lead and other team members to produce a high volume of customer-facing publications, as well as other creative projects and visual communications assets. Successful candidates will demonstrate superior attention to detail and accuracy in managing visual assets. They must have proven experience in working effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities:
* Design visual communication projects from initial concept to final publication. Ensure objectives are successfully met through effective collaboration with the core team, sales leaders and internal stakeholders.
* Create high quality visual design deliverables such as brand guidelines, marketing collateral, custom illustrations, illustrated ebooks, presentations and more.
* Understand the project audience, purpose, and strategic goals to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of collateral. Includes proofreading of copy for grammatical accuracy
* Obsessively improve customer experience by capturing feedback, iterating, and developing a continuous improvement cycle for publications and communications.
* Advocate for design excellence and best practices.
* Create and manage workflow including the implementation of templates, tools, and processes to ensure precise and rapid turnaround of projects.
* Ensure that project outputs meet requirements for delivery across multiple channels (e.g. print, digital, video, and email).
* Assure project objectives are successfully met through effective collaboration with leadership, internal, cross-divisional, and external partners as projects require.
* Create, edit, correct, and manipulate digital assets for insertion into reports and publications.
* Assist with generation and preparation of regular progress reports for team and internal stakeholders.
* Some travel (approximately 10%) will be required for team planning and project discussions.Basic Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience as a designer
* Bachelor's degree in discipline related field or equivalent experience
* Portfolio of design work
