The selected candidate will provide engineering and in-service engineering agent (ISEA) support for Digital Video Surveillance System (DVSS). Engineering, integration testing and ISEA services including configuration management, distant and on-site support, investigation and recommendations on potential system improvements and support for evaluation and testing of equipment as required to keep DVSS in-service ships operational.
All travel includes ship visits to upgrade and maintain the digital video equipment on DDG-67, DDG-72, DDG-79, DDG-84 in Norfolk and DDG-83 and DDG-86 in San Diego.

- Provide engineering support in lab environment when not shipboard.
- Configure, test and support Digital Video Surveillance System (DVSS).
- Configure and Intergrate DVSS Software on Navy Ships with different consoles
- Assign and configure IP addresses and network settings for consoles
- Analyze and Implement networks and associated systems/infrastructure to support Navy Shipboard
- Implement, update and apply test procedures based on guidelines
5 years relevant experience with Bachelors; 3 years relevant experience with Masters. An additional 4 years of specific job experience with a HS diploma may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree requirement for this job. This experience is in addition to the relevant years of experience listed with the job's education requirements. Example: If this job required a Bachelor's degree + 5 years relevant experience the equivalency would equal HS diploma + 9 years job related experience.
The selected candidate must have an active confidential security clearance.
Must have computer/network experience.
- Experience working on board Navy ships a plus
- Cyber Security Certifications a plus or the ability to obtain certifications in a timely manner
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science/Technology or Cybersecurity
