Java Developer, Junior

The Challenge:

We're looking for a developer with the skills needed to build software solutions from vision to production-ready system.

This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. Using an Agile approach with technologies such as Java and Oracle, you'll work with the development team to build a modernized Cloud-based solution. You'll analyze the needs and the environment to help make sure the solution the team develops considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

  • Experience with Java
  • Experience with Hibernate and Spring Data JPA
  • Experience with Oracle
  • Experience with aspects of the software development life cycle
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a responsible manner
  • Ability to learn new technologies
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Spring Boot
  • Experience with Cloud services, including AWS
  • Experience with Redhat
  • Experience with other object-oriented programming, including .NET
  • Experience with other database management systems, including SQL Server or PostgreSQL
  • Experience with reporting and data visualization tools, including Oracle BI, Qlik, or Tableau
  • Experience with Java Server Faces (JSF)
  • BA or BS degree
