National Account Genetics Lead (18016786)

What You WillDo as the National Account Genetics Lead:

As the National Account GeneticsLead, you will support the portfolio development of National Account housebrands to enable their growth of volume while enabling NK Brand growth. Youwill drive market share and volume growth of Syngenta genetics and the traitlicensing business with National Retail Accounts that have their own housebrand. You will accurately represent, position, and market elite corn geneticsand technology traits of Syngenta, or their originators, directly with NationalRetail Account customers operating in North America. As the Genetics Lead, youwill provide supporting information on product performance and productioncharacteristics for genetics and traits to help customers choose products thatbest fit their business plan, marketing strategy, and geographic sales area.You will engage product management teams of house brands to build collaborationand trust in the Syngenta portfolio and pipeline. You will influence multiplelayers of National Accounts Agronomy and Product Management teams by becoming atrusted advisor.

Accountabilities
  • Assist with ProductIdentification in the selection and advancement of elite genetics that meet orexceed performance criteria of new products
  • Emphasize thevalue of the Syngenta Testing Program with customers to ensure that valuableinformation is available
  • Make educated decisionsaround product advancement and product recommendations
  • Assist in the developmentof GreenLeaf Genetics product release presentations and NK hybrid informationand support
  • Help to create ProductMarketing Guides, annually, for distribution to retail customers
  • Train and helpcustomers to identify potential products for their markets
  • Assist withtotal genetic penetration into Growmark, Winfield United and Nutrien


Qualifications

YouHave:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomyor Agricultural Science
  • Master's degree preferredor plant breeding experience
  • 5 years' experience withinthe industry or related industry fields
  • Strong knowledge of eliteindustry germplasm, traits, agronomy, and new technologies
  • Willingness to travel extensivelyat certain periods of the year, and spend time in corn fields looking atproducts with customers
