A vigilant developer, he/she will work on the planning, designing and coding of enhancements for our current offerings. Always searching to continuously improve FIS's catalog of products and services, we will create and maintain stable, reliable systems for our clients and partners.\n\n\n\nThe Day-to-Day\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n\nDirects the activities of a software systems development function, software applications development function, and a software quality assurance function for software enhancements and new products.\n\nEstablishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to subordinates. Senior management reviews objectives to determine success of operation. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.\n\nWorks on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.\n\nImplements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.\n\nEstablishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.\n\nManages activities of two or more sections or departments.\n\nExercises supervision in terms of costs, methods and staffing.\n\nAll the above duties and responsibilities are essential job functions for which reasonable accommodation will be made.
