History Intern
Through our Internship Program, PAE is seeking qualified undergraduate students for an opportunity to gain experience within the US Government contracting industry, develop business acumen and problem-solving skills, and expand their professional network.
Located in our Ashburn office, the History Intern will be responsible for the following:
- Archive, migrate, and curate physical mediums into our digital archive
- Conduct image, document, and video file scanning
- Curate and organize historical documentation - including legacy photography and videography
- Assist in editing our "History of PAE" Book
- Oversee creation of slide shows, historical videos, and digital magazines
- Complete a thorough curation of the PAE History archival (both physical and digital) files
- Provide creative support for products and special projects
Requirements:
- Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in an accredited college or university majoring in History, Art History, or related field
- Skillset/interest in film/silver/gelatin photography
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
- Desired traits: Highly self-motivated, strong leadership skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions
- Specific Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office software to include: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop
- Ability to commute/live and work in the Washington D.C. metro area
