Job Description
We are a metal stamping facility located in Cuyahoga Heights that offers its employees a fast paced, customer-focused organization to grow in. We are looking for a Production Supervisor with extensive setup experience who is self-directing, willing to learn and has a great attitude that matches their work ethic. Applicant must be proficient working in an ERP software program, have excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently to make sure the job gets done right and on time.

Job Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for setting up single hit and progressive stamping presses and training and leading the press operators.

Essential Duties:
  • Set up single hit and progressive dies in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.
  • Leadership and training of Press Operators
  • Work with Buyer/Planner, Quality, and Engineering to ensure On-Time Delivery / Schedule Execution
  • Ensure QC inspections are performed as required
  • Proper ERP training, utilization and accuracy of production transactions
  • Daily Production Floor Huddle/Walkabout
  • Efficiency reporting and monitoring
  • Ensure PM’s are performed as required
Skills you MUST have:
  • 5 years of die setting experience with 200-500 ton metal stamping press line, including progressive and single hit dies.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a lead or supervisory position
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer Skills: Experience working in an ERP software system, Microsoft Office
