An opportunity exists in our sales organization for an experienced, highly passionate, proactive and motivated sales professional to join us as a new Channel Partner Manager (CPM) that will support our Latin America channel. Reporting to the Global Director of Channel Sales, the CPM will carry a quota focused on generating continued quarterly growth by selling through resellers/distributors to end clients within the Corporate, Education and Public Sector verticals. The CPM will also be responsible for partner training and enablement with the purpose of increasing the self-sufficiency of the partners' sales teams. This person will be measured on their ability to manage channel partners, plan and execute new business development, and increase account renewal and retention rates.
Location
Ideal candidate will be able to travel frequently and easily to Latin/South America from one of the major International airports located within the continental United States (i.e. Miami, Atlanta, Dallas or Houston)
Responsibilities
Meet with clients and prospects along with channel partners and take the lead role on sales to ensure Rosetta Stone products and services are properly represented
Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
Meet assigned new business, renewal and up-sell sales targets
Remove barriers for our partners, assist them in closing the sale and being successful
Identify new resellers that meet the defined profiles and work with Channel Operations to fully recruit
Accurately and consistently log activity and forecasting using salesforce.com
Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements and drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners
Assess channel partners performance using quantifiable evaluation against Rosetta Stone's ideal partner profile
Provide initial and ongoing demonstrations and training to channel partners
Become an expert in Rosetta Stone language solutions, methodology and pricing
Be responsive to queries/issues raised by channel partners/clients, solving problems within agreed timeframes
Write customer proposals and respond to RFI/P for language learning solutions
Monitor and communicate client feedback to the product division, and any other teams to promote continuous improvement
Participate in team meetings to discuss trends or commonalities in the client population
Drive and implement improvements to processes, documents, tools, reports, etc. to benefit the team and internal/external clients
Communicate with and deliver reports to Global Sales Director on all pertinent issues in a timely fashion
Skills & Qualifications
8+ years' experience in a Sales, Business Development or Account Management role in the Direct and Reseller channels
Fluency (verbal, written and grammatical skills) in both Spanish and English required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, or Engineering fields
Educational Technology or Learning Management System (LMS) content experience highly preferred
Ability to build trust, rapport and strong relationships
Ability to analyze complex market and financial data and build a basic business case
History of channel sales success and demonstrated ability to penetrate and close new account opportunities in high volume
Familiarity with operating in fast-paced environments requiring teamwork, flexibility and change management
Ability to engage with all levels of staff and management, including senior stakeholders at C-level
Successful experience with proactive strategic account planning and ongoing plan management; Entrepreneurial experience and mindset highly preferred
Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving, project management and time management skills
Ability to conduct presentations and product demonstrations in a confident and engaging manner
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite programs
Experience using sales and/or CRM software; Salesforce.com highly preferred
Experience using online screen-sharing or video conferencing software
Ability to organize, prioritize, make decisions and work efficiently and effectively under a deadline
A desire and ability to work with new technologies and challenging demands
Residence near major continental US airport
Willingness to travel up to 50% to/from Latin America
