JOB POSTING: Occupational Therapist Fellow - Outpatient Main Hospital
Full Time, 12-month Fellowship Program

The Pediatric Occupational Therapy Fellow is responsible for evaluating the developmental and functional status of pediatric patients, administering treatment, fabricating or recommending adaptive equipment and splints; documenting evaluation results and patient progress; and providing patient and family education. Demonstrates competence defined (*) in Pediatric Occupational Therapy Fellow responsibilities in providing age-appropriate care and services to patients from the age of birth to 18 years. Participates in mentored practice, didactic learning, and professional development activities as part of the 12-month Pediatric Occupational Therapy Fellowship Program.
The Nationwide Children's Hospital Pediatric Occupational Therapy Fellowship is a one year program that begins in August. Fellows engage in mentored clinical practice across inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition, the fellow will participate in scholarly activities, leadership training, and didactic courses offered through The Ohio State University Nisonger Center’s LEND program. At the time of application, fellowship applicants must be either a) a graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program with a current Ohio OT license b) currently enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy program with the plan to graduate and obtain Ohio licensure prior to the start of the fellowship program. The applicant must either have a) prior work experience as a pediatric occupational therapist or b) a Level II occupational therapy fieldwork in the area of pediatrics.
Three professional letters of reference must be submitted at the time of application.
