| Infosys is looking for Mainframe Developer who has experience in DB2, CICS, Cobol and global delivery model. This position is located in Hartford, CT or Springfield MA. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Qualifications Basic * Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. * At least 2 years of experience with Information Technology Preferred * At least 2 years of experience with excellent technology understanding of COBOL, JCL, DB2 and related Mainframe Utilities * Working knowledge of ITSM processes - Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Request Management. Knowledge or BMC Remedy. * Experience supporting a large enterprise IT environment * Experience in Life Insurance domain * Ability to guide the team through CAB and Request for Change (RFC) processes * Good Analytical skills * Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
