About the team

This position is part of the corporate communications team that works in corporate marketing supporting the corporate/non business teams and executives. This is a global team that spans geographies and works collaboratively embracing digital mediums to connect. We are flexible, hard workers that like to be creative and strategic.

What you will be doing

You will be responsible for writing and editing effective, dynamic and impactful communications across multiple mediums including video, podcasts, infographics, digital and social channels as well as traditional email and print. You will evaluate requests for communication support from business leaders to define requirements, create fresh and engaging messaging, and recommend optimal channels and cadence. It is critical that you are comfortable being strategic and putting together communications plans that work for a global audience.

  • Conceptualize, write and edit compelling content to engage and educate employees, increasing their understanding of corporate objectives and how their role contributes to the organization's success.
  • Helps shape corporate strategy and develop messaging; reviews and edits content of communications materials to ensure content meets established standards and guidelines before publication. Ensures content is approved via established approval process prior to any publication or dissemination.
  • Create multi-channel communication campaigns and programs that promote message consistency and absorption.
  • Expert in transforming complex technical and business topics into engaging stories supported by words, images, graphs, charts and other forms of digital media.
  • Ability to write quickly and accurately as well as re-purpose existing content/copy for new use.
  • Serve as a communication consultant to team leadership and peers.

What you bring:

We are looking for a hard-working professional that is comfortable in a global, corporate environment working with executives and teams that span geographies.

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field (journalism, public relations, marketing, communications, business communication) with five to ten years prior experience.
  • A master of effective copy and headlines in AP Style with a good sense of design and extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment and across all organizational levels where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are important.
  • Deep understanding of tone and voice and how to adapt both for web, mobile, video/audio and print as well as producing and managing content for digital delivery.
  • Ability to work strategically with multiple assignments and frequent change in priorities.
  • Ability to work outside normal workday and willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Expertise in Microsoft tool set including SharePoint, Yammer, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • Proven ability to work with senior business leaders and executives
