What you'll do

RobustWealth is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of strategic and tactical product initiatives. We continue to strive to provide the most impactful data-driven experience and insightful user interfaces to exceed the expectations of RobustWealth's clients and to continue the pursuit of our mission - help investment advisors optimize their practices.

In this role, you'll be responsible for conceptualizing, defining, prioritizing, and launching features across our platform. This includes writing product specifications, aiding with product marketing and release materials, and conducting competitive market research and analysis. You’ll ensure information regarding assigned products is communicated accurately, completely, and consistently to internal and external audiences, including distribution and client service team members.

We want someone who can:

  • Collect and synthesize product ideas and drive consensus on the prioritization of the ideas with the sales, trading, product, and engineering teams.
  • Develop short-term and long-term roadmaps for your product area/vertical.
  • Communicate the product strategy from throughout the company.
  • Build detailed product requirements that integrate competitive research, customer feedback, and industry research to exceed client expectations.
  • Drive the prioritization and release of new product features for your vertical.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and others on drafting go-to-market plans to ensure successful distribution of your products.
  • Work with engineering to analyze data and conduct experiments (i.e. A/B tests) in order to optimize the product in pursuit of an improved client experience and business metrics.
  • Monitor and understand the key metrics governing your product area, with an eye toward continuously improving them through ongoing product innovation.
  • Provide informal direction and mentorship to less experienced team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) required, preferably in Information Technology or similar discipline.
  • At least 6 years of experience in documenting product and business requirements as well as defining technical specifications is required.
  • Strong analytical background required. Top candidates will have some prior experience in finance, engineering, and/or software development.
  • Exceptional communication skills. Must be able to influence others and build consensus among multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience and ability to build relationships within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using customer insights and other forms of qualitative feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian or CA Agile Technologies Tools a plus.
  • Previous experience managing moderately large and/or complex projects required.
  • Must be client-focused with proven ability to build and deliver solutions to meet their goals.
  • Must be energized by working on a team with ability to also work independently and efficiently to deliver work on time.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint applications required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

This role can be done from our Lambertville, NJ, Denver, CO or Des Moines, IA locations.
