Mission:

The Document Control Specialist reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. Under minimal supervision, creates and maintains a secure environment for all business system documentation as required by ISO/AS9100, NADCAP, Customer Requirements, etc. This position demands a self-starter who seeks additional tasking, can learn quickly on the job, and can prioritize competing demands effectively.
Responsibilities include document control, quality records management, and audit support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: of the successful candidate for this position include but are not limited to the following:

* Maintain current and historic records of all required internal/external documentation, both electronic and hardcopy
* Receive, review, route, and upload Document Change Requests for document release or revision.
* Maintain database of all internal "controlled" documentation.
* Maintain database of all Document Changes Requests.
* Maintain database of all External documentation that is/has gone through the review process.
* Push external specifications through internal approval process.
* Assist in transition from paper documentation to electronic documentation and storage.
* Maintain and aid in development of Document Control Processes and Procedures
* Train company employees on Document Control procedures.
* Responsible for daily notification to all employees of newly released, revised, or obsoleted documentation.
* Assist in consolidating and rewriting internal procedures and indexes.
* Works in all aspects of the Engineering Program offering support across the operation
* Understands and complies with all company policies, procedures, rules and related regulations
* Support to issue and solve internal corrective measures report.
* Provide support for design, execution, and maintenance of quality system processes at respective departments.
* Participate in quality management system procedure reviews and revisions.
* Ensure current product quality specifications fulfill client's requirements.
* Support quality management systems operation within organization.
* Ensure operating procedures are of use to end users.
* Comply all activities with corporate policies as well as departmental procedures to reduce risk and losses.
* Express and explain safety value at all job functions.
* Ensure program activities are compliant with applicable government regulations and company quality assurance standards.
* Interact with superiors, team members and related people.
* Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. * Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, translate and interpret instructions onto technique cards, routers as well as other verbal or written instructions.
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Records management, office systems and procedures experience preferred
* 1-2 years of office experience in an ISO/AS9100 manufacturing environment desirable
* 1 year full-time work experience
* Physical ability to perform the essential job functions.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $19.25 to $28.75 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 0 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
