Job Description

The Opportunity

Under grant funding from the National Institutes of Health/National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities, this person will work with the PI and faculty to conduct research activities, data analysis, preparing manuscripts, presentation, and assisting in the preparation of additional grant applications and other activities related to research as needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in research activities.
2. Attend a grant writing workshop, participate in a research workshop and attend courses related to advanced statistics.
3. Present at the conferences in order to build research connections with other disciplines
4. Write and submit manuscripts for publication
5. Assist in the preparation of additional grant applications and other activities related to research as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have been awarded a Ph.D. by the time they begin the appointment from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:

Has strong methodological and statistical skills.

Has previous experience in grant writing, research publications and working in a team setting.

Has a high research interest in technology, aging, behavioral health, public health or related field.
