Primary Responsibilities

HDR has an opening in the Northwest for an Advisory Services Analyst to join our team. Primary responsibilities for this position are to support the Advisory Services team on a range of projects including project funding, capital planning, asset management, sustainability and resiliency, business process improvements, strategic plans, and other services within the Advisory Services umbrella. The tasks supported by this position will include the following:

  • Perform analyst activities such as conducting research, applying software tools for analysis and presentation (tableau, Smartsheet, excel etc.), and identifying solutions to solve complex business issues.
  • Prepare documents and presentations for clients.
  • Attend client meetings with Consultant or Principal Consultant.
  • Serve as task manager under project manager, begin deputy project management duties.
  • Support Scope of Work and budget development for proposals.

The primary focus of this position is within the Resources Business Group, which includes Power, Industrial, and Waste Sectors. However, this position may support other HDR Business Groups on Advisory Services projects.

Advisory Services requires gaining knowledge of new subjects, markets, and trends. Candidate needs to be curious and have the passion to continue learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's of Business Administration or related field.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a collaborative team as well as independently.
  • Willingness to support a wide variety of Advisory Services projects and learn new skillsets.
  • Some travel required.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of related work experience
  • Self Starter
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
