Due to growth, we are adding this Financial Analyst, Medicare Part D to our Government Programs department.

We are unable to offer remote work to residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

The Financial Analyst, Medicare Part D serves as a subject matter expert in Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (M3P) billing & collection financial operations. This position is responsible for overall reconciliation of M3P financial processes for Navitus EGWP clients, including collaboration with Navitus Finance on integration with corporate billing system and general ledger. This role oversees all financial processes delegated to Navitus M3P vendor and 3rd party M3P vendors for our Part D Health Plan clients. M3P client financial reporting is also part of the scope of this position. The Financial Analyst implements financial controls, forecasting, reporting, and oversight of CMS and client payments for the Navitus Medicare Part D EGWP product as well as for Navitus Medicare Part D health plan clients (to the extent they are tracked by Navitus).

How do I make an impact on my team?

  • Develops and maintains deep subject matter expertise related to the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (M3P) and related financial functions.
  • Administers overall reconciliation of M3P financial processes for Navitus EGWP clients, including collaboration with Navitus Finance on integration with corporate billing system and general ledger.
  • Responsible for financial oversight of M3P processes with all Navitus clients, including those using the Navitus M3P solution, the Navitus MedicareRx EGWP M3P solution, and all 3rd party M3P vendor integrated solutions.
  • Implements and supports M3P payment processes to our EGWP clients. Collaborates with Navitus Finance on all payments.
  • Monitors aging reports for our EGWP clients. Provides reporting to clients in support of billing & collection activities.
  • Performs ad hoc analyses in response to client requests.
  • Oversees cash receipts and distributions related to Navitus EGWP M3P program.
  • Leads and executes process improvement projects focused on enhancements to our M3P product offering.
  • Participates in implementation of new Navitus Part D Health Plan M3P clients, new 3rd party M3P + Navitus Part D Health Plan clients, and new Navitus EGWP M3P clients.
  • Develops and administers run-out processes for all Navitus M3P clients who move to a different PBM.

What our team expects from you?

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required
  • A minimum of five years in a corporate Financial Analyst role with a Medicare health plan or PBM is required.
  • Medicare Part D and PBM experience is highly desired.
  • Experience in government programs compliance program participation, adherence, and support is highly desired.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
